Mrs Lowden taught me History at Davenies School, Beaconsfield, 1970/71. She was a wonderful teacher - so calm and kind. She taught our class all about Welsh coracles, the ancient city of Ur and Egyptian cuneiform. Everything she taught us was so memorable. There was nothing dry about her classes - everything was vivid and brought to life. I have very happy memories of my time as a "New boy" in her class.
